The Sanyasa ashram means that one is very careful in associating with opposite gender and one had to be very careful as this is a kind of declaration of war against Maya so naturally you can be tested. I hope you are ready for that.

Two days before my Sannyas Ceremony, I had the good fortune to be blessed by having the opportunity to speak on the phone with His Holiness Radhanath Swami Maharaja for 30 minutes. I was in India, and he was in Chicago. It was my night, and his morning, according to the time zone. It was a blissful discussion, full of encouragement and inspiration. As the conversation concluded, Maharaja asked me to send him some photos of the ceremony, as well as of Prabhupada Ghat, here in ISKCON Pandharpur.
After receiving my report and photos, Maharaja personally replied to me on WhatsApp:
“Dear Maharaja, Thank you for the wonderful report and photos. I offer you my sincerest obeisances, congratulations, and prayers.”
On the day of the Sannyas Ceremony, after bath in the Chandrabhaga River and darshan of Lord Vitthala, I returned to my ashram to freshen up. As I entered the room, my phone rang. It was the secretary of H.H. Indradyumna Swami Maharaja. “Hare Krishna!” he said. “Just a minute, I will put you on the phone with Maharaja.” H.H. Indradyumna Swami came on the line and said, “Is this Sri Krishna Chaitanya Swami?” I acknowledged that “Yes, it is.” It was the first time anyone had called me by my new name. I was so happy to hear from Maharaja, as he had mentored me for five years traveling in Poland on his famous Polish Festivals Tour Program. We also traveled together in other parts of Europe and the UK. Maharaja told me, “You got the best name!” as the name Sri Krishna Chaitanya was the name of Lord Chaitanya Himself when He received sannyasa. We had an excellent talk, and I felt like floating in the clouds. Then Maharaja invited me to come to Vrndavana to meet him. “I hope we can meet and sit and read the Caitanya Charitamrta together.” I am still looking forward to the day when I can meet Maharaja, and we can sit and read together.
